Ajai Kumar is currently part of the executive management team at Persistent Systems and is responsible for global growth for the organization via unique channels like Alliances, Private Equity and Analyst/Advisors. Prior to that, Ajai was heading the Engineering Services for Americas @ Tech Mahindra. Earlier, he was a President and General Manager of Sales for Engineering services at Arrow. As President and General Manager of Sales, Ajai Kumar was responsible for growth via strategic accounts and opening new logos, his key focus was to compliment the $30 Bill revenues via it’s large ecosystem of customers and suppliers.
Ajai was the VP and Global Head of HCL ERS Verticals & Mid-Market (VMM) segment. Under his leadership, VMM business segment became one of the fastest growing segments within HCL. He held multiple leadership positions across business strategy & management, customer management, and sales. He managed executive level relationship with CxOs in many Fortune 500 companies and across multiple verticals, including Media and Entertainment, Publishing, Retail, CPG, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Travel, Transportation, Logistics, and more. Ajai pioneered and executed many unique programs at HCL and worked with the Chairman and CEO on strategic initiatives.
